Welcome to another $RFD ReFund Monthly Recap. This month has been one highlighted and focused on internal comms., processes, and foundation, all imperative to be at the highest level in order to scale effortlessly without backtracking. This focus is where the rubber meets the road. Although most of these things are internal, they are the integral building blocks to move the project forward, and the excitement comes from what is around the corner.
Without further ado, we’ll jump into some of these concrete happenings, again, setting us up for success.
- We have completed our Brand Book, Style Guide, and Press Kit with Obriy (https://obriy.design/). This is important because now we have a cohesive and high-end recognizable brand, as is RFD. It is a foundational building block that allows us to have visual consistency across images, colors, fonts, etc. across all internal and external platforms. Furthermore, they are the tools that arm the Marketing and PR teams so we can uphold our brand and consistency, giving them visual content to stand out, across 3rd party Tier 1 publications. Having these assets in the hands of writers and content creators allows us to ensure everything is unmistakably RFD and our design language is consistent, expansive, and visually differentiates us from the pack. These are core assets that serve as the visual identity of our foundation; necessary for us to scale elegantly and uniquely, while setting us apart. Over 100 hours have gone into this framework to arrive at a place where we are ready to flourish anywhere moving forward, with all the tools in hand.
- Our Socials. We have expanded our social offering, gearing up for our Marketing and PR Phase, so we are able to attract new holders from all social verticals; funneling them into our core offering with an emphasis on user flow. All socials have been updated using our branding with custom sizing, updated descriptions, and links, to be consistent and catered to that first touch point experience. With a few more in progress such as DeBank and Dune Analytics to go a bit deeper and reach different demographics. It is imperative to get support from the community across all these channels to start snowballing from all directions — awareness is the first phase.
We have also been updating and optimizing our links, branding, etc. across 3rd parties such as Coin Market Cap, Coin Gecko, Certik, and others to ensure the latest and greatest is set. Our user/discovery flow creates a spider web where all roads lead to $RFD educationally and cleanly, while those that discover us stick to what we are and our ethos.
3. Organized and optimized our TG channels (in progress). From content flow and organization to branding and descriptions, we’ve got our core 3 channels set, so the ancillary ones can dissipate. Crimson Guard (partnership announcement to come soon) can get to work optimizing these channels even further with their next-level telegram/discord bot, which has a bevy of features that will be rolling out, while also making the personalized onboarding process very smooth and interactive in every way possible utilizing these new, undeniably efficient, tools.
4. The Website. We have begun the initial concepts, UI/UX, user flow, and content to be provided on our new website, which not only will be an award-winning piece of work, but serve as the RFD core [layer zero]. Its quality is a testament to what we are creating, setting the bar very high. What’s most exciting about this, is when the site is completed, we have everything we need to scale and grow; it marks the completion of a phase, our internal/external foundation, and now when promotion and marketing start, it WILL STICK. No breath is wasted, the value and engagement are there and will be proven in the KPIs.
5. Currently, we are doing the bulk of the work internally. This includes items like the internal team best practice documents, processes to follow, order of operations, project management on Monday (the platform), and working towards an internal and external facing content calendar so we can hit marks consistently, will be easy to recap, while also looking ahead. We are utilizing Monday + weekly live docs to best create and plan upcoming action items, and then we will be able to monetize and scale to all of our ancillary platforms for further growth and attraction. Although this may seem underwhelming, I can assure you, without internal operations acting as they should, and checks and balances in place, we can not move forward proactively as it is imperative we’ve covered everything, leaving no stone unturned. In a small, volunteer team, the processes and alignment are incredibly important. We are very close to rolling out a consistent base offering weekly & monthly, where that core will only be added to as additional partners, content, and happenings occur.
6. Regarding Partners, what we can say is this. We have secured 4 extremely high-level (best-in-class) partnerships waiting to be announced. We are under NDA on 3 of these. You can expect these announcements post-website, and you can expect the fortuitous fruit that they bring almost immediately after the announcement as we begin working with them 2-weeks prior to the launch of our new website; There will be no stop-gap, and we’re 100% ready to hit the gas upon completion. After all, an announcement is only as good as how much engagement you get and how much you can convert that, so it’s important to remember, you only get that announcement once. We are focused on absorption and comprehension, not ‘speed’ (relatively).
7. All structural tools we utilize, and programs we use have been upgraded to the highest plan and extended. This, for example, gave us a lot more freedom over our linktree and allows us to use gifs/mp4s instead of static graphics in some places, all the while allowing us to use a robust live SAAS model to maximize our efficiency.
8. Token Burn. About a week ago, our total supply of 1 trillion tokens hit an 8% burn. This tells us supply shock is right along the same timing as when our marketing and PR start, post-website. With 8% burnt in 3 months, imagine where we will be in 6 months with the added volume that comes with our future actions and relationships. A BRIGHT future awaits.
