As we inch closer to our mainnet launch, we continue to finetune our network performance and inner workings at Venom Foundation. At the same time, we continue to build inroads in the Web2 industry, while forging strategic partnerships to expand our ecosystem.
Last month, we crossed the momentous 1 million mark for Venom wallets — an incredible feat we could not have achieved without our community. That being said, we never rest on our laurels. Instead, we continue striving for new heights and unlocking new milestones.
Here’s a recap of all the happenings in the fourth month of our testnet:
Venom Testnet in Numbers
It brings us much pride to see the Venom Testnet growing steadily. Compared to the previous month, we have recorded:
- 460M transactions with an average of 42.58 transactions per second
- 55M accounts (smart contracts)
- 1.2M wallets
- 10.6M NFTs minted as part of on-chain/social tasks
- 493M messages with an average of 50.79 messages per second
Network Upgrades and Enhancements
In our quest to build a best-in-class blockchain, research and development underscores all our efforts. This month, we’ve made the following upgrades to further enhance the Venom blockchain:
- Improved monitoring system, added more metrics and logs
- Fixes for Overlay Network
- Fixed potential panic for caching sessions
- Limit WAL files for RocksDb
Three New dApps Join the Venom Ecosystem
This August, we’re pleased to unveil two new dApps in our Venom Ecosystem — Qamon, Venom Burn and OneArt.
Firstly, Qamon is a decentralized mail service powered by the Venom blockchain. In essence, it provides an innovative Web3 solution to data breaches on centralized servers. Qamon enables secure communication with end-to-end encryption for maximum security and peace of mind. Above all, users can enjoy rapid speed and affordability, with just a few taps on their mobile devices.
Next, Venom Burn is a dApp where users can burn their VENOM tokens to support projects. In simple economic terms, burning tokens reduces the total supply, leading to increased scarcity. We are proud to see the amount of traction Venom Burn has achieved in such a short period of time. As of the time of writing, Venom Burn supports 7 projects, with more than 226K users and 1.37M tokens burned.
Finally, we have OneArt, a multifunctional wallet that provides a secure, user-friendly, and seamless experience for both crypto and NFTs. OneArt supports both Venom and EVM chains in a single dApp, allowing users to link both wallets without storing dozens of seed phrases separately. Additionally, its built-in Web3 browser enables users to explore hundreds of dApps and NFTs built on both Venom and Ethereum networks. Above all, the self-custodial wallet enables full control and privacy over users’ assets and data.
Experience these new dApps on our testnet website, and mint exclusive NFTs by completing tasks!

Say Hello to VenomCircle DAO
VenomCircle has been an important part of our ecosystem, as one of the first community pages for Venom Foundation on Twitter and Discord. This August, VenomCircle hit the 100K follower milestone on Twitter, and we are proud to officially transition to a DAO backed by community governance. Now, community members can cast their votes and submit suggestions in the Discord channel to shape the future of the community. Apart from inclusive decision-making, it provides an open space for the community to collaborate, exchange ideas and drive collective growth for the entire community.

Driving Sustainability with Blockchain Technology
As a carbon-neutral blockchain, we have been committed since day one to incorporating a sustainable infrastructure that is environmentally friendly. On this note, we are proud to partner with the UAE government to launch a National Carbon Credit System. This landmark partnership ushers in a new era of sustainability backed by blockchain technology. Together, we aim to reduce carbon emissions, promote sustainable agriculture, enhance environmental health, and conserve biodiversity.
