With the new collection, ZTX will reward community members and extend creative digital IP to new opportunities and experiences using exclusive collections from Dust Labs, such as DeGods and y00ts
The launch has been made possible thanks to the ZTX partner wearables initiative – a community-focused program through which ZTX and its partners create exclusive, branded wearables that users can access via the ZTX Avatar Builder. The Avatar Builder is a user-friendly web application in which users can create fully customizable full-body 3D avatars, complete with tailored wearables and cosmetics, as their online persona across the ZTX 3D virtual open-world.
The ZTX wearables initiative goes beyond the visible characteristics of online players. It creates economic incentives for digital collectible projects such as DeGods to reward their community members with a diverse array of 3D virtual assets that carry real utility – utility that extends far beyond the original IP of the digital assets themselves – and unlocks new immersive experiences and opportunities thanks to the scarcity of wearables and digital trade on the ZTX platform. By facilitating the customization of wearables via seamless applications and building community traction around high-profile wearable collections, ZTX effectively creates tie-ins for digital collections to expand their digital footprints and related online universes without having to build applications to do that themselves from the ground up.
For its partnership with Dust Labs, ZTX will offer unique experiences to token holders by implementing a token-gated experience for DeGods holders. Only DeGods holders will be able to claim DeGods-branded items such as hoodies and sweatpants that they can use on their avatars in the Avatar Builder and wear online. These functionalities will work seamlessly across the ZTX virtual world, and holders will be able to showcase them wherever they go.
ZTX co-CEO Chris Jang hailed the partnership as a monumental advancement and success for the wider Web3 space. “This new release signifies the first of many community initiatives that we are taking to enhance opportunities and build advanced functionalities for creators and users over the months and years to come,” he said.
“Our collaboration with ZTX is a testament to our ambition to make DeGods the number one community in the world. We are enhancing the utility of the DeGods collection and opening new doors of opportunity and innovation for collectibles and digital assets of all kinds by offering our community members unique digital assets such as partner wearables and are creating immersive experiences for token holders that truly set our offerings apart,” said Dust Labs CEO Kevin Henrikson about the announcement.
In addition to the launch of the very first partner wearables release, ZTX plans to roll out the private beta of its 3D open-world application over the coming weeks, which will be followed by the inaugural release of ZTX’s Genesis Home Mint. The Genesis Homes is a collection of 4,000 bespoke 3D homes that provide holders with numerous benefits, from governance and income-earning opportunities to special access to future drops, online events, games, and more.
