We are thrilled to announce that ExoWorlds, a blockchain Metaverse project known for its innovative NFT collection, has recently acquired VeSea, a prominent NFT marketplace platform on VeChain, along with its cherished NFT collections, VeKings and NFTPP.
This strategic move signifies a vital milestone in our ongoing journey to join and reshape the future of blockchain, crypto, and the VeChain NFT landscape. The coming together of these two powerhouses brings you, our community, more opportunities, and an enriched experience in our metaverse.
As we move forward, we would like to clarify that the sale was not financially motivated, and the VeSea team will continue to manage operations for the next three months as we transition. This period is necessary to ensure that ExoWorlds can focus and deliver on its current main priorities and aid in a smooth handover of the platform and all associated collections to the ExoWorlds’ leadership.
Here’s a brief outline of our plan following the transition:
1. Upon transfer, VeSea will retain its brand identity and core utility, continuing to serve as a standalone entity within our ecosystem. We are dedicated to enhancing VeSea’s offerings by developing its launchpad, improving activities, and providing value-added services such as Bridging, Minting, and Staking and many other services to platform users.
2. Over time, VeSea will be incorporated into the ExoWorlds Metaverse, serving as an integrated marketplace and rolling out new services for its audience. This incorporation is designed to improve user experience while maintaining the uniqueness of VeSea.
3. To streamline operations and increase stability, we plan to provide an option for $VSEA holders to exchange their tokens for $EXO at a rate to be defined in the future. This token unification is intended only to strengthen our combined ecosystem.
4. Post-integration VeKings and NFTPP, and the ExoWorlds collections will all be eligible for staking $GCRED. The specifics of these rates are yet to be established, and we will share more about this exciting development in due time.
5. Our recent ExoWorlds Prototype update introduced various play-and-earn mechanisms that we intend to extend to VeKings and NFTPP collections as well. Specifically:
5.1 During the Prototype Launch Phase, holders(VeKings, NFTPP, and ExoWorlds) are eligible to earn rewards.
5.2 Post Prototype Launch Phase, VeKings and NFTPP will also receive taxation benefits. The taxation comes from users who play without owning these collections. They receive heavily reduced Play and Earn rewards, with a portion going to the taxation pool.
